Washington requires homeschooling families to file a declaration of intent and provide annual assessments. Parents must meet qualification requirements or be supervised.
File annual declaration of intent. Parent must be supervised by certified teacher OR have 45 college credits OR complete parent qualifying course. Provide instruction in occupational education, science, mathematics, language, social studies, history, health, reading, writing, spelling, art, and music.
